Interoperability will determine innovation excellence

Michael S. Schrage is one of the world experts in innovation economics. Consultant to companies such as Johnson & Johnson, MasterCard, Cisco, Microsoft, British Telecom and Fujitsu, he advises them in their process of innovation through rapid experimentation techniques, simulation and digital design. Researcher at the MIT Media Lab and author of several books, including Serious play (Harvard Business School Press, 2000), in 1990 he also published Shared Minds: The New Technologies of Collaboration (Random House), which explored the tools and dynamics necessary for a fruitful collaboration in the world of business, science and the arts.
In an article published in the Financial Times, Schrage argues that the quotient of interoperability will determine in the next few years the real value of companies and their innovation strategies.
