CO-FEST: THE FUTURE IS CO-
120 professionals involved in innovation of the best companies in the country met on 7 – 8 October at Parc de Belloch (la Roca del Vallès) in Co-Fest, an event organized by Infonomia to share experiences and collaboration dynamics, aiming to develop new processes and business models that can anticipate the future of the companies involved.
Infonomia’s founder, Alfons Cornella, highlighted that “now it is time to dare and be smart”, quoting several examples of companies from different sectors who are collaborating to innovate and change their processes, their business models and ways of relating to customers.
Antonella Broglia, consultant, explained new ways of approaching the complex problems that most organizations are facing nowadays, as well as how to turn those problems into advantages and capabilities of the company.
The researcher Agustí Canals showed to the audience how more than 1,000 scientists worldwide are collaborating to create a common research project and he anticipated ideas of how can the organization of companies be in a collaborative future.
David Dencker, European partner of CuuSoo’s Japanese company, shared with the audience this new collaborative model where end customers make proposals of unexisting products in the market and companies commit to produce them based on a minimum critical mass that makes a pre-purchase.
Other attendants at Co-Fest, as BBVA, Orbea or Thyssen-Kroupp, explained concrete processes of innovation carried out by them recently to innovate in items that are supposed to be highly consolidated in the market, such as ATMs, bicycles, or escalators and mechanical walkways.
The 120 Co-festers also had the opportunity to learn Visual Thinking techniques, to define new business models, and actively participate in networking workshops and exchange of ideas between different companies, seeking to develop joint projects in the future.
